With this project, Koncern Studio responds to the phenomenon of branding plagiarism and design piracy in all fields. In today´s Western society, there is a fierce effort to prevent unauthorized copying, although the entire Western civilization is composed of the characters, patterns and inventions of other civilizations that have been laboriously copied since the Middle Ages. Porcelain is still called “china” in English or, to cite another example, the entire 19th century is characterized by the complete appropriation of Arabic patterns.
