Studio Koncern was founded in 2000 by two designers Jiří Přibyl and Martin Imrich. We create design of consumer products for Czech as well as global manufacturers. We work with furniture, car accessories, lighting fixtures, promotional products, fabric products and last but not least glass design.
Our conceptual approach employed in non-commercial projects is also reflected in our commercial work. We don’t follow any stylistic line common for our work but rather focus on a conceptual integrity of every single project.
Studio Koncern puts a great deal of emphasis on non-commercial projects to be presented on various exhibitions and presentations (Designblok in Prague, National Gallery – Veletržní palác, Designmai in Berlin, Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, etc.) The projects which have come into existence so far are for example: Fake It Easy, Domestic Violence – Golden Edition, Future Crystal, Contour Lines, War Age, Merkur Aquarium, and Cyberflower..
